Plenty of people lined up to get some pink ink for a great cause Saturday in Austintown.

Jeff Bloomingdale, the owner of Biketown Ink located inside Harley Davidson Biketown USA, hosted a tattoo-a-thon with his friends in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The first-ever Ink Pink event was also to raise money for his wife Kelly, a life-long Boardman resident who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 38.

All proceeds and donations from these pink ribbon tattoos go to help Kelly and Jeff with their medical costs.

Kelly Bloomingdale, Ink Pink event beneficiary says, "Unfortunately, I lost my job due to an acquisition, and me and my husband had to acquire our own medical insurance, and medical costs are through the roof."

The event took place Saturday from 2pm to 8pm, complete with dinner, live music, a 50-50 drawing and Chinese auction.

Organizers are still totaling things up, but say they raised several thousand dollars for the Bloomingdale's.
