The Choffin Career and Technical Center in Youngstown was offering a look inside the facility at an open house this weekend.
The event, held on Sunday, was open to anyone interested in checking out the school. Choffin offers more than 30 programs to Valley youth and adults. Students attending the school were on hand to explain the benefits of attending. "I was really confused about what I wanted to do after high school. I wanted to get some experience because I want to be a doctor, so I asked a guidance counselor and they said this program would help me because in college I will have to take a lot of science classes, and I wanted to get prepared for the future," says student, Doniece Fletcher.
Enrollment at Choffin, which recently underwent a renovation, is at an all-time high of 615 students.
