Voters could decide this November if Ohioans must participate in the new federal health care system.

Opponents of President Obama's health care reform law said they have gathered enough signatures to let Ohio voters decide on an amendment, which would keep people from being required to buy health insurance or face penalties. The Ohio Secretary of State's office must validate the signatures first.

Lawmakers in three other states are putting similar measures before voters next year.
