Newton Falls police have arrested a 60-year-old man on charges of child enticement.

Gerald Williams was arrested on the charge Friday and is being held in Trumbull County Jail. Police said on Thursday Williams tried to lure and entice children, who were waiting for a bus, to go inside his apartment.

Schools Superintendent Dave Wilson said another child reported Monday morning that a man in a gray van tried to get her to go inside his vehicle.

Police are investigating that report, and so far no arrests have been made.
