It has been a terrifying weekend for a valley mother.
Lydia Young has asked for your help to find her 17-year-old daughter, Brittanie Lawrence.
Lawrence was last seen Friday as she left school. Young admitted her daughter had run away before, and is on house arrest through a ruling of the Juvenile Justice Center.
She said her daughter was ordered to wear an ankle bracelet but thought she may have cut it off.
A missing persons report was filed with both the Boardman and Youngstown Police Departments. Young says her daughter is bi-polar and needs to take her medicine.
"There's nothing worse in the world than knowing there's something wrong with your child 'cause you think only the worst, and you wanna just do right and that's why I called for help," Young said.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Brittanie Lawrence is asked to call the Boardman Township Police at (330) 726-4144, or the Youngstown Police Department at (330) 742-8950.
