Michael Pavlik Jr., the older brother of boxer Kelly Pavlik, will spend the next two months behind bars for punching and threatening his fiance in November 2009.

The original felony charge was reduced to a domestic violence misdemeanor, and he was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail and three years community control. He told the judge he regretted his actions.

"I care about her and her family, and I am sorry to my family for the humiliation that this has put upon them," Pavlik said.

Afterward, the judge said he felt Pavlik was remorseful and asked that he not break any laws during the next three years.
