Bond has been sent at $250,000 for a man accused of raping an 11-year-old girl.

James Roth was arraigned on the rape charge Monday in Eastern District Court. Assistant Trumbull County Prosecutor Sean O'Brien said Roth pleaded not guilty to the felony and was taken to the Trumbull County Jail.

If he does post the bond, he is to be placed on an electronic monitoring house arrest and have no contact with the victim.

He is due back in court Thursday.
