Some of the voters in Warren's 64th District were greeted by a familiar face when they went to vote on Election Day.

Rep. Tom Letson, who's now serving his second term in office, worked the election polls for the first time.

"I thought the people in Columbus should understand a little better what the people on the front lines have to deal with when it comes time to letting everyone vote," Letson said.

And while working the polls for the first time, Letson says he noticed improvements that need to be made when it comes to the request for identification. "I will make those suggestions to the Representative Elections Committee in Columbus," Letson said. "That'll be Dan Stewart." The representative also feels that voters should be able to utilize passports for identification. "Since we are requiring passports for almost any travel outside the country, more and more people have them, and that's a ready source for identification everywhere else in the world except my polling place in Ohio

Letson said he would probably work the election polls again, but he can't do it next year, because he's up for re-election in Warren.
