A Pennsylvania man is dead following a late night accident Wednesday in Lawrence County.

The accident happened on State Route 65 in Wayne Township. Joseph Aegan, 33, of Ellwood City, was driving at a high rate of speed and his car went out of control as it was going around a curve. The car slammed into a utility pole and then into an embankment before rolling several times.

The man was not wearing a seat belt, and police said speed was a factor.
