A popular hot dog shop in Niles opened in a new location.

Jay's Famous Hot Dogs moved to Youngstown-Warren Road. The shop also has a new owner. Bob Petrus said he and his wife, Maribeth, have been looking to open a restaurant for a long time, and it's exciting to have the dream come true.

"It's always been my dream," said Bob Petrus. "My wife has worked for the health department. She's done a lot of things. She's a dietitian. I've always wanted to do something, and I took advantage of it."

Jay's Famous Hot Dogs has been open since 1920.
