The following clinics are open for Tier 1 individuals, which include: pregnant women, parents and caregivers of new babies less than six months of age, health care workers, babies six months of age to adults 24 years of age and adults between the ages of 25 and 64 who have underlying health problems.

Scheduled clinics include: Dec. 2, 12 to 6 p.m. at Upper Room Fellowship Hall, 500 Sponseller Road, Columbiana; Dec. 3, 12 to 6 p.m. at St. Clair Township Building, Pugh Road, Calcutta; and Dec. 4, 12 to 6 p.m. at Trinity Friends Church Hall, 33937 state Route 30, Lisbon.

Aside from Tier 1 participants, vaccines can also be given to those 10 years of age and under needing their second dose of the vaccine. As more vaccine becomes available and the initial tier is taken care of, Lawrence County officials said the department may be able to open up its clinics to more groups.

This is the first time the state has scheduled free vaccination clinics in the county.
Scheduled clinics include: Dec. 1, 2 and 3 the state's health center, 106 Margaret St., New Castle.

While officials said priority should be given to those falling under Tier 1, the vaccines will be available for anyone. Vaccinations are free.
The department's clinic is scheduled for 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Niles Wellness Center, 213 Sharkey Drive.
