For the past few days, kids of all ages got a chance to show their animals at the Trumbull County Fair.

One little girl from Johnston overcame some major barriers to join her friends in the ring. Ten year old Amber Jones was born with cerebral palsy. She has limited use of her right side and cannot walk, but that didn't stop her from taking part in this year's Junior Fair Goat Show. Thanks to her dad's ingenuity, Amber was able to walk her goats using a device, which attaches to her wheel chair.

Now, her parents hope other kids will follow their daughter's lead. "Just that any other folks out there that have kids with disabilities, no matter what it is...attention deficit to full-fledged cerebral palsy...get a goat, get a dog, get a cat, get a chicken.  Join 4-H.  4-H is about helping each other and not about yourself," says Debbie Jones, Amber's mom.

Amber and her goat Ted placed second overall in their category.
