Police confiscated crack cocaine and several firearms, including a military style assault rifle, during raids at three Palmyra Road homes Monday.

Leonard Bryant, of Warren, was arrested and could face charges of drug trafficking and receiving stolen property after the raids at 2161, 2180 and 2182 Palmyra Road.

Trumbull Ashtabula Group drug task force conducted the raid which followed a three-week investigation, begun after several neighbors complained about the activity there. Police obtained search warrants for stolen property, as customers would trade stolen items for drugs.

An AR-15 assault rifle previously reported stolen in the city was found along with several other stolen items, many of which no longer had serial numbers with which to trace them. Police also found drug paraphernalia, including scales, along with a small amount of crack cocaine.

Other people were present during the raid, said police, but there were no other arrests. Bryant also faces previous drug-related charges in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
