Deer Gun Season opens tomorrow (Monday, November 30) in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
The Ohio Division of Wildlife says this years deer population is high, and the herd is as healthy as it's ever been. Nearly a quarter of a million deer were harvested during the entire hunting season last year. The state expects thousands of hunters to head out this week.
The Deer Gun Season in Ohio runs through Sunday December 6 and then opens again for one weekend, December 19 and 20. The season runs through December 12 in Pennsylvania.
