A local grocery store chain has agreed to pay nearly half a million dollars in overtime fees to its employees.

Marc's employees in 54 Ohio stores and a handful of Connecticut locations will receive more than $426,000. There are locations in Niles, Boardman and Austintown.

The ruling was handed down Tuesday as part of a U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division judgment. It resulted from an investigation that revealed the company violated overtime pay provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
