It was similar to the actions of a superhero. The owner of All American Cards and Comics helped catch a suspected thief with his bare hands.

Greg Bartholomew said that last Monday one of his customers had $300 worth of Dungeons and Dragons merchandise stolen from his car in Howland Township. A few hours later, a man called Bartholomew's Warren store saying he had similar merchandise he wanted to sell.

That's when Bartholomew decided to set up a sting. He told the man to meet him at his store the next afternoon and then quickly called detectives. When the man walked in with the stolen goods, he was arrested, and Bartholomew's customer was thrilled.

"I knew they would call (Bartholomew) because where else can they go to bring this stuff in," Gib Franks said. "And thieves aren't all that smart to begin with."

Police arrested Ademilson Smith on charges of receiving stolen property. He is being held in Trumbull County Jail and is expected to arraigned in the next few days.
