The Pennsylvania Civil Air Patrol held its third annual Group Six Conference Saturday in West Middlesex.

The Civil Air Patrol discussed its goals and vision for the upcoming year during the conference. The event also included workshops and training for cadets from 12 northwestern Pennsylvania counties.

The PA Civil Air Patrol announced they'll work with the Ohio Wing of the Civil Air Patrol for the first time next year.

"Sometimes with the different wings, everybody does their own thing, but they're going to work in partnership with the encampment that we hold at the Youngstown Airbase this summer. I believe it's going to be in June," said Gary Fleming, PA Wing Vice Comm.of the Civil Air Patrol.

The conference also included a banquet and awards ceremony.

The Civil Air Patrol is the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force.
