Several homeowners and members of a non profit organization protested outside Chase Bank in Howland Thursday morning to demand the financial institution help customers obtain affordable home loan resolutions.
The protest, sponsored by ESOP, was part of the organization's day of action. ESOP held protests at seven different Chase bank locations across Ohio.
The protestors went to the bank to ask to talk to the manager and drop off a letter for Chase C-E-O Jamie Dimon, but say they were told to leave. Moments after they entered the bank they say police were called.
A spokeswoman with Chase says the bank has helped 4-hundred thousand families stay in their homes since 2007.
