The Trumbull County Sheriff's department is charging a man they say was in on the copper theft that ended in the electrocution of Robert Eakin.

Charles Fisher of Farmdale now faces theft and complicity to aggravated trespassing charges.

Officials believe he was with Robert Eakin when the two reportedly tried to steal the wires from an electric substation in Gustavus Township earlier this week.  Police say Eakin died after cutting a charged wire.  The surge also caused more than a dozen small house fires and resulted in a loss of power for thousands.

Fisher is due back in court next week.
