The 27 First News Caring for our Community campaign teamed up with Victory Christian Center in Coitsville for the Feed the Valley food campaign.
The church gave away a thousand bags of food. Each bag included everything a family would need for a Thanksgiving meal.
Any food the church had left over was going to be donated to a local food bank.
