Another church is the victim of burglars in Mercer County.  The Shenango Valley Baptist Church on Neshannock Road was burglarized sometime over the weekend.  A laptop computer and some money was taken in the theft.

Police in the Shenango Valley say there has been a string of church break-ins in the Farrell, West Middlesex and Sharpsville area.  This latest burglary puts the number at 13.

Earlier this week, police in Hermitage say a pair of churches were hit with another broken into the week before.

Authorities believe all the incidents, including some in nearby Brookfield, may be the work of the same person or group.  In each, loose cash or small electronics are taken with little other damage reported.
