Women from different religions came together for the annual Interfaith Tea in Youngstown on Tuesday.

The event was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and takes place every year on the first Tuesday in February. The group Church Women United has hosted the event for 67 years now, with a goal of bringing all religions together at one table.

This year, about 150 women from across the Valley came out for the event.

"We hope that people will start having more services together, and doing more events that are ecumenical. Because this is an ecumenical group," said Shirley Megown, president of Church Women United. "Just seeing other women from other denominations and learning about their churches and the way that they worship. It's a good thing."

The Church Women United group has been going strong for 70 years.
