Crestview Wins Rematch with E. Palestine

In the only all-local matchup in the first week of the playoffs, Crestview defeats East Palestine 20-14. 

Crestview took the lead in the second quarter on a Dakota Norris one-yard touchdown run.  The Rebels missed the extra point, leading 6-0.  Later in the second quarter, Carter Hill connects with Adam Britton for a 13 yard score.  Crestview leads, 13-0. 

East Palestine cut the lead to 13-6 when Shane Peterson found Shane Egresi for a 14 yard score. 

Crestview answered in the fourth quarter on another Hill-Britton touchdown reception.  The Rebels led 20-6. 

The Bulldogs scored again in the fourth on a Peterson 18 yard rush.  Crestview completed the two-point conversion, but couldn't get any closer.

For Crestview, Britton rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns.  Adam Coppock had 56 yards receiving.

On East Palestine's side, Shane Peterson rushed for 89 yards.  Derek Ross had 60 yards receiving.  Egresi added 54 yards receiving, with one touchdown.

Crestview advances to play Ursuline next Friday at a site to be determined.
