The Mooney Cardinals came into the 1st round of the Division III playoffs a little banged up. Senior tailback Braylon Heard did not play with an ankle injury, and junior Charlie Brown sat out as well. But that didn't slow down the Cards...

Three Mooney running backs found the endzone on Friday night against Mogadore Field... Karrington Griffin, Mark Brandenstein, and Ray Vinopal. The Cardinals cruised to victory 42-12.

Cardinal Mooney advances to play Hubbard in the 2nd Round on Friday night at 7:30PM. The site will be determined by the OHSAA this weekend.
