The costs are continuing to grow at the county-owned Oakhill Renaissance Place in Youngstown.
During a Mahoning County Building Commission meeting Wednesday morning, officials were told work to upgrade the facility's heating and cooling system will run an extra $1 million to $1.5 million beyond the $2.5 million the county received in federal grants to pay for the work.
The Commission also is reviewing possible roof repairs to determine how much that will cost. County Commissioners are expected to discuss the situation more next week.
