The Grand Jury looking into the now four-year-old purchase of Oakhill Renaissance Place by Mahoning County will be getting some more time to hear evidence.
The team of special prosecutors looking into the Oakhill deal indicated it still has more evidence to present. The county's eight common pleas judges all signed off on an order giving investigators until the end of July to finish their work.
That decision extended the Grand Jury panel hearing the case another two months. This is the second extension for the jurors and today's order indicates there will not be another.
Had the judges not acted today, the panel would have been released.
