Joe Kaluza Project

Joe Kaluza is the Kentucky Fried Chicken Manager, who was brutally shot
and robbed in March, 2008. The shooting caused him to be paralyzed from
the neck down. Joe and his wife Lisa care for their two special needs
children. The Kaluza family is in need of a specially-equipped house with
an open floor plan, overhead lifts, voice activated doors, telephones and
appliances. The home will be built on Youngstown’s south side just down
the road from their current home.

We would like to expand Joe’s life outside of the two rooms he currently
uses in his non-handicapped house, so he can reclaim some independence
within his own home. We are asking for your prayers for the Kaluza family
and for the success of the community project.
