As the community awaited word on potential bidders for the assets of Forum Health, managers with the system sat down Tuesday with leaders of Forum's three largest employee unions.
Administrators met with heads of the Youngstown General Duty Nurses, the SEIU and AFSCME officials reportedly to discuss Forum's ongoing bankruptcy case.
In a statement issued late Tuesday afternoon, managers called the meetings "constructive."
Earlier this month, Forum received four proposals from prospective bidders. In the statement, administrators admitted all of the bids came with what they called "conditions that need to be addressed and further evaluated."
Forum now has until the middle of December to review the bids and submit a decision to a bankruptcy judge for approval.
