Two of Forum Health's unions reach a tentative agreement with Community Health Systems.

A spokesman for CHS said Thursday that both the Ohio Nurses Association and SEIU 1199 still have to vote on the agreement. That vote is scheduled to happen next week.

The details of the agreement are confidential. Negotiations with AFSCME continue.

CHS had the winning bid of $120 million to buy Forum in bankruptcy court.

Ohio state law requires the Attorney General's approval of the sale before it's official.

“We are very pleased that agreements have been reached with the ONA and SEIU,” said Tomi Galin, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Community Health Systems. “We are making good progress in our efforts to finalize the acquisition of Forum Health and hope that the transaction will be completed soon. We are eager to join with all of Forum’s employees in their commitment to provide outstanding care for the entire Valley.”
