The state's top lawyer may voice his opinion on the bid to purchase Forum Health as early as next week.
Attorney General Richard Cordray is expected to meet with reporters Monday morning to give an update on his staff's review of the offer made by Ardent Health Services. AHS is bidding nearly $70 million to purchase all of Forum's assets in the Valley.
Because Forum is a not-for-profit health system, Cordray would have to approve the deal in addition to getting the OK from the Bankruptcy Court.
