A Nashville-based health care business is not commenting on published reports claiming it is showing interest in Forum Health.
Reports said executives with Ardent Health Services have been in contact with administrators and union leaders at Forum.
Sources for the local system will say only that no decisions have been made and that discussions with a number of parties are taking place.
An e-mail from a spokesman for Ardent claims while the firm is always looking for new opportunities, it won't comment on any specifics.
