With the 2010 midterm elections out of the way, a battle is brewing between our own candidates who want to be mayor of 33 News Daybreak.
WYTV's Trumbull Bureau Chief Peggy Sinkovich was the first to shoot jabs in her political ad at her opponents: Daybreak morning live reporter Greta Mittereder, anchor Len Rome, meterologist Jim Loboy and Mooch the camera guy.
Tuesday, Len Rome fought back, and by Wednesday a political action committee, Coalition for a Fun Daybreak, debuted its own ad. By Thursday, there were only four candidates standing: Loboy threw in the towel to support Rome.
Throughout this week, you can watch their campaigns continue to unfold on 33 News Daybreak and vote in the Daybreak Poll for who you think should win.
The election results will be announced Monday, Nov. 15.
